In the same section, Bidford earned a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Claverdon, while Ilmington moved to the top of the table after a 5-3 win at Blockley. Jim Shearman (2), Mark Ryan-Gill, Stuart Boyd and Adam Tomlinson were on target for the new summit side.

Sam Huckvale and Ryan Scot netted for Littleton, while hosts Cubbington replied through Phil Hollingsworth and Jim Allison.

League action in the bottom section produced wins for FISSC and Shipston Reserves, while Henley Forest and Red Alert shared the spoils.

While Campden were crashing out of the cup, Badsey Rangers made progress as Adam Slade and Richard Layton both notched braces in helping overcome Stratford Spartak 4-2.

There was further bad news for the top flight leaders who also saw their lead at the summit cut to just one point following Mettis Aerospace's 6-3 victory over Henley Forest.
