EVESHAM United manager Dave Busst has completed two more signings ahead of tomorrow's trip to Ilkeston Town (3pm).

Busst snapped up Redditch United striker Lee Ross and former Robins defender Steve Hands from Studley last night.

Both should to play tomorrow as Busst looks to improve on a record of just one win in seven games since he took over.

Busst said: "The games don't get any easier but we have just got to persevere.

"The disappointing thing is that we are playing well but not winning. I'd rather play poorly and get the points."

Ex-Worcester City and Hereford United forward Phil Stant is now in charge of the Robins and has helped galvanise the club after a poor start to the season and they demonstrated their progress with a 1-1 draw at Dr Martens Western Division leaders Redditch United last week.

Busst is under no illusions about the size of the task but there are factors in United's favour he believes.

"Apparently Ilkeston are one of the most improved sides since Phil Stant took over but they've got a nice pitch which hopefully will suit us."

Simon Marsh should be back while Busst hopes to sign a defender and centre forward to play alongside Craig Pountney who has scored four goals in four games.
