A WELLAND toddler group has organised a Christmas drawing and colouring competition for children at schools near the village.
The contest was organised by the Welland Teddy Bears committee and children were asked to draw a picture showing what they liked best about Christmas.
Group chairman Louise Hughes said: "This is only the second year we have run the competition and we were delighted with the response."
After the competition was judged, the winners received prizes at a ceremony at Welland Village Hall. The results were: 0-3 age group colouring competition: 1 Sam Calvesbert, 2 Alexander Taylor; 4-7 age group: 1 Hannah Hughes, 2 Georgina Biggs; 8-11 age group: 1 Alice Bedworth, 2 Rosie Stephenson.
