MALVERN Ladies entertained Evesham Ladies in a league game at Victoria Park in front of a large number of supporters on Sunday.
MALVERN LADIES 3, EVESHAM LADIES 0
Both sides started well with end-to-end football. Malvern scored first in the 15th minute when a cross from the right by Emily Prosser was tapped in by Nat Holmes. In the 25th minute a fine through ball by Kate Boulton set up Emily Prosser for Malvern's second. Half time 2-0.
Despite Malvern's lead Evesham put up a fine battling display not giving Malvern any clear cut chances and causing the home side a few problems when they attacked.
Malvern's defence stood firm and this was rewarded with Malvern's third goal in the 86th minute after good work and a through ball from Polly Bounds was knocked-in by Emily Prosser.
This keeps Malvern, who are sponsored by First Floor Flooring, top of the women's division of the Kidderminster & District Football League.
Polly Bounds and Becky Crack both had good games for Malvern.
