THE game of the day was once again in The Soccer Site Malvern League Division Two and again it involved Madresfield in another 11-goal thriller.

This time however, Madresfield didn't throw away their advantage and took the points with a 6-5 victory over visiting division leaders Bell Inn 98.

Madresfield's goals came from Adam Morse, man of the match Steve Brookes (two) and a Wayne Cadmore hat-trick, with Bell Inn's replies coming from Ashley Jones (two) and a Chris Grubb hat-trick. This result means that Bell Inn 98 stay top on goal difference but only one point now separates the top four sides with Madresfield having a game in hand and with the results fluctuating nearly every week it is proving to be an exiting division.

Second-placed Dynamo Ledbury kept up the pressure on Bell Inn 98 when they moved level on points with a 6-1 victory over visiting Cavalry Arms with goals from Matt Williams. Matt Grey two and a hat trick from captain Adam Thomas with the visitors reply coming from Rob Jones.

In the other game in this division improving young side Perowne Park Rangers visited Vauxhall AFC and took the points with a 4-2 victory. Their goals came from James Cale, Zeb Kotlarzewski, and two from Jason Wharf with Vauxhall's Darren Ravenhill and Carl Gurney netting in reply.

The Soccer Site Division One saw Talbot Head visit Club AC 30 and move to within a point of their hosts with a 5-1 victory goals came from Richard Birch and two apiece from Danny Briscoe and Dave Smith with Club AC 30's solitary reply coming from Jason Payton Smith. Kempsey United A entertained Fromes Hill and won 10-0 with goals from Richard Ford, Chris Freeman, two from Steve Bullock and a hat trick each for Ryan Leigh and Steve Edwards.

In the Soccer Site Malvern League Sunday Senior Cup semi-finals holders Oak All Stars progressed through to the final courtesy of a hard fought victory by 7-3 at Second Division side Cross Keys. Oak's goals came from Chris Stone, Zekley Coral, Lee Cluiet, Mark Toman, Jason Emery and two from Jamie James. Cross Keys scorers were Lee Phillips and two from Ryan Mears, but they were not helped when Mark Howells had to go to hospital after 30 minutes with a head injury.

Oak Allstars' opponents in the final are not yet known as the other semi-final was abandoned in the 60th minute with Bishops Frome leading AFC Grovesnor 1-0.

On Sunday there is only one league game with Fromes Hill hoping for some Christmas cheer when they entertain Morgan Aero 8.
