A quiz night to raise funds for the Chernobyl Childrens' Project was described as a "huge success" by its organiser.
Eight teams competed for prizes at the event on Saturday, which was held at the Lyttelton Well in Church Street.
Charity member Kelly Shaw-Young said: "We had a highly enjoyable evening, and we have raised £228 so far, but donations are still coming in. It will get the ball rolling for our target figure of £4,000."
The charity gives children from the region of Belarus contaminated by the 1986 nuclear disaster the chance to stay in Malvern for a month during the summer, where they benefit from breathing clean air.
