MORE than 30 staff at Malvern Girls' College took part in their traditional Christmas pantomime.
Every year the staff put on a production and this year the play was The Wizard of Oz.
The Wicked Witch was played by the head of English, Linda Melhuish, while the Wizard himself was played by chemistry teacher Patrick Harris.
There was plenty of song and dance, particularly from the housemistresses with a performance of Jump by Girls Aloud. Some of the male members of staff gave a rendition of Spirit in the Sky while the Maths department dressed as characters from Bob the Builder.
Dr Rebecca Jones, librarian and scriptwriter, said: "This was high octane entertainment, with very few lines learned, giving a fresh performance!"
