Traffic calming measures on Oak Street are coming closer to implementation.
The mayor of Upton, Coun Eric White, along with fellow town councillors, has met John Wallace, from the Malvern Hills Highways Partnership, to discuss possible measures to reduce the speed of vehicles travelling along the road.
Mr Wallace suggested a scheme to narrow the road and add bollards in certain areas, allowing only one vehicle to pass at a time. He told councillors that the scheme had been very successful in other parts of the country.
