Things are set to go with a swing at Huntingdon Hall tomorrow (Saturday) courtesy of Sticky Wicket and his Swingin' Little Big Band.
Headed by Alan 'Sticky' Wicket, a percussionist who has worked alongside artists such as Van Morrison and Lonnie Donegan, the nine-piece line-up promises to recreate the atmosphere of the 1940s jazz heyday.
The evening begins at 8pm. Tickets are £12.50 (concs £9.50).
The next event at the venue will be An Albion Christmas on Monday, featuring past and present members of the Albion Band and Fairport Convention.
The evening will include traditional readings, folk carols and music from four musicians, Ashley Hutchings, Simon Nicol, Simon Care and Kellie While. The event begins at 8pm. Tickets are £11 (concs £10). For tickets contact 01905 611427.
