YOU would be a fool to miss next week's show at the Theatre of Small Conven-ience, during which, it is said anything can happen.

The five-minute-long show entitled Fools Panto, starring local performers Dee Watkins and Simon Blakeman, will take place throughout today (Friday) and tomorrow.

Miss Blakeman said: "The show is a collection of improvised Christmas tales, with all sorts of traditional panto characters, all mixed together. Anything can happen, we've got musical instruments, props and sound effects, so it could get quite bizarre.

"The shows involve a lot of audience participation, so the content will be changing all the time, it will be like a voyage of discovery."

The shows will be performed on demand from 11.30am to 4pm. and will last for five minutes each time, with an entrance fee of £1.

Miss Watkins and Mr Blakeman, who have lived in Malvern for three years, and now have an 18-month-old son, William Skylark, both have a strong background in amateur theatre.

Fool's Panto will round off a busy year for Dennis Neale, owner of the world's smallest theatre, on Edith Walk.

"More than 900 people attended our performances last year and we are hoping to beat that this year. My aim is to increase the frequency of theatre opening to three or four days per week and always look to encouraging new acts to perform here."
