YOUNGSTERS at a Worcestershire school transported audiences to an exotic Pacific island - for their last-ever Christmas production.
A total of 18 pupils from Cliffey House School in Hanley Castle, took part in Christmas in the Sun.
The production, which was the school's last, as it closes in July 2004, told the story of children wishing they could escape the same old decorations, food and weather in the Malvern area.
Surprises
Their dad then surprises them with the news they will be going to Christmas Island in the Pacific Ocean, but after a few days out there they remember all they are missing that makes Christmas in the Malvern area so special.
The show was performed to the whole school on Wednesday and to the pupils' parents during that evening.
