PAM Ayres brings her UK tour to Malvern Theatres next week with a mixture of stories, jokes, poems and anecdotes.
It is more than 25 years since Pam became a professional entertainer, following success on TV's Opportunity Knocks in 1975.
Her accessible verse has been cited as a major contribution towards the wider appeal of poetry and the Arts Council put her as the fifth best selling poet in 1998 and 1999, in the company of Ted Hughes, Seamus Heaney, Carol Ann Duffy and Sylvia Plath.
She has sold more than two million copies of her six books and earlier this year completed her 10th Australian tour.
She will be at the Forum, Malvern Theatres, on Friday, October 24, at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 from 01684 892277.
