EVESHAM United have suffered a blow ahead of tomorrow's trip to Gloucester City with the loss of keeper Tim Clarke.

An X-ray has revealed he has a stress fracture to his ankle which has been plaguing him all season and has been told to rest for a month.

Robins boss Phil Mullen will consider his options but said number two Craig Ladek is in with a chance of starting in Saturday's crucial Dr Martens Western Division.

Midfielder Nathan Jukes, who has been suffering with a calf problem, also comes into contention after two substitute appearances.

But defender Marc Burrow (foot) and striker Wes Joyce are both doubts for the Meadow Park clash.

Mullen will be looking for revenge after Gloucester knocked the Robins out of the FA Trophy two weeks ago.

"They are as good as anybody in this league and we are going to have to push the issue if want to get anything from the match," said Mullen.

"I can't praise the lads highly enough at the moment for the way they are playing but we are just not converting chances.

"If we put away even 20 percent of the ones we are creating we would be fine."

Meanwhile the Robins need to do some hasty re-arranging of fixtures to avoid a trio of blank weekends brought on by Bromsgrove's FA Cup clash, Atherstone United's demise.

There are no matches arranged from October 25 to November 8 while November 1 is also blank.
