DAVE Davies (ankle) could return for Stourport Swifts Dr Martens Western Division trip to Bedworth United tomorrow (3pm).

Swifts boss Dave Titterton is still looking to add some experience to his young side but was delighted with their battling display at Rugby United in mid-week when substitute Steve Hawkes grabbed a last minute equaliser.

"I've got some great young lads, like Hawkes and 18-year-old John Hayward, but they would benefit from some experience around them," said Titterton.

"That's the idea of trying to get Des Lyttle on board, even if it's just for a few games because they would learn a lot from him."

Ex-Worcester City and Nottingham Forest defender Lyttle could be poised to sign for the Walshes Meadow club on a short term basis before returning to the Football League.

Titterton will be looking for another determined display at Bedworth where Hawkes and Robbie Taylor could be given an opportunity to repeat their Rugby exploits.

"They've got pace and are willing to run and attack teams which is just what we needed," he added.

"Bedworth have played two or three more games more than us but it would be nice to get three points in the bag which would take us to 14 points from 10 games and into the top half."
