MALVERN auctioneer Philip Serrell was special guest at the official opening of Foley House Antiques, Worcester Road, on Friday.
The business, run jointly by Trevor Guiver, Roger Hales, Michael Kimber and Nigel Hicks, moved from Malvern Link to the town centre four months ago.
Mr Guiver said: "There was no cutting of ribbons or anything like that but we felt that some sort of opening ceremony would be nice."
Mr Guiver said the three-storey Georgian property had been empty for two years before they moved in.
"Malvern has a history of shop closure, so it is refreshing to see a new company setting up and making use of this fine building," he said.
