The 15th annual Big Apple event at the weekend has been hailed as a great success.
This year's celebration of apple growing and cidermaking, held in and around the Ledbury and Much Marcle areas, boasted a cycle route, orchard walks, cider-making demonstrations, and all-important cider tasting.
Local cidermaking firms Weston's, Gregg's Pit Cider and Perry and Lyne Down Cider were among the many producers displaying goods over the weekend.
A team from Radio 4's Food Programme joined the action on Sunday, interviewing visitors and producers for a feature to be broadcast this Sunday at 12.30pm, ahead of National Apple Day on Tuesday.
Event spokesman Jackie Denman, who was at the Royal Oak in Much Marcle for an apple tasting session, said: "The fact that people were queuing out of the doors to join in with the competition just shows the success we enjoyed. It was a great weekend.
"The event is not only a fun weekend, it is a chance to support and promote local food and drink producers. Judging by the impressive turnout and sales, it seems we have been successful."
Next will be 'Blossom Time' in May, with cider tasting and guided walks around the blossom-filled orchards of Putley.
