WHILE it is our good fortune to live in an excellent care home catering for residents whose ages range between 80 and 109, the pavement leading to Woodgate is in such a shocking state that most residents simply do not venture outside.
Only recently, on that stone pavement, I suffered quite a dramatic fall thereby bringing much teatime traffic to a halt while two drivers abandoned their cars to help me to my feet again.
I should be obliged if you would afford me the opportunity to thank both of those kind drivers and at the same time to draw the attention of the authorities yet again to the dangerous state of the pavement.
