CHANGES to the front counter area at Malvern's police station are being planned by West Mercia Constabulary.
The force wants to improve the reception area and access for the disabled to the Victoria Road station.
It hopes to carry out the changes next year.
A force spokesman said there were no current plans to move from the station, as has been previously mooted.
The news follows a £898,000 grant by the Home Office for major building works to five other West Mercia police stations.
These are in Peterchurch, Shrewsbury, Tenbury, Evesham and Redditch.
