A charity event was held last week at the newly-refurbished Ripple Fishery.
The official reopening took place on Friday and was followed by a fishing competition to raise money for the Suzanne Howarth Memorial Fund.
Suzanne was an Environment Agency officer from Tewkesbury, who died of cancer in September.
Novices and seasoned anglers alike took part in the event, raising more than £250. The money will be sent to the Breast Cancer Research Trust.
The fishery, on the River Severn, has been transformed, at a cost of £30,000, by the addition of new platforms and steps to improve access for anglers. Its use is free to those who hold an Environment Agency rod licence.
