THE circle dancing on Saturday was a great success and hopefully it will be repeated this time next year. Thanks to Richard and Olivia for their wonderful playing and to eve-ryone who organised the evening so well.

At the harvest festival service last Sunday, a box was put out for the collection of pencils, notebooks, crayons (not pens) and anything else which children could use in school. This will go through the Ledbury Tanzanian to Mtwara in Tanzania, where a three-year drought is making existence so difficult. The collection will be open till the end of the month.

Tonight's illustrated talk by David Fletcher on Life in the Arctic should be good, as David is an excellent speaker. The talk starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £3 on the door. Re-freshments will be available during the interval and all profits will go to hall funds.
