BROADWAY'S county councillor Liz Eyre put herself at the mercy of school pupils when she took part in a web-based interactive game.
Coun Eyre was one of five councillors asked to participate in I'm A Councillor, Get Me Out Of Here, based on the television programme I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here.
The aim was to encourage young people to get involved in local democracy and interact electronically with their local councillors.
The game was run by Worcestershire County Council as part of Local Democracy Week, which had the theme of listening to tomorrow's voters today.
Coun Eyre and four other councillors posted their personal manifestoes on a specially-constructed website accessible only to Worcestershire schools, where they had to answer questions posted by students and undertake a daily test to see how in touch they are with young people.
If the going got tough, councillors could escape by pressing an I'm A Councillor, Get Me Out Of Here button.
