DEALING with stress is the subject of a conference to be held this week for parents of children with special education needs.
Worcestershire County Council's County Specialist Support Service (CSSS) is hosting the event, which will be held on Saturday, October 18, at Perdiswell Young People's Leisure Club.
Jacky Pye, a peripatetic teacher at the CSSS, says living with children is fun but also very hard work.
"The conference will give parents and carers the chance to share their experiences and learn how to lower their stress levels for themselves and their children," she said.
The key speakers are Dave Traxon, a senior educational psychologist working with children and families in Worcester, and Nigel Dakin, a personal management and skills trainer.
Starting at 9am the day is free to parents and carers living in Worcestershire and £15 for non-county residents.
Refreshments are available at £2.50 for coffee, tea and lunch.
For further information contact Jacky Pye or Karen Broderick on 01905 337402.
