TENBURY Tennis Club youth coach Eilie Robinson is delighted with the response to her Saturday coaching sessions now held on her own court at Sutton Farm, off the Bromyard Road, Tenbury.
Prompted by Tenbury Town Council's ban on the club using the Burgage courts, she is determined to keep the youth group on track.
After refurbishing her own court for the youngsters to use, she now has over 50 young players on her books.
She said: "Fortunately, being thrown off the Burgage has been the council's loss and not the young people's, they much prefer to play at Sutton and numbers for the Saturday sessions are on the increase."
"We now have same ab-ility groups for all ages and run five sessions, mornings from 8-45am -- 1.30pm and from 3 -- 4.30pm and it's good see so much enthusiasm.
