Dance, comedy and music all feature at The Roses Theatre, in Tewkesbury this week.

Musicians and vocalists Lindisfarne will appear tomorrow (Saturday).

The group first emerged in the early Seventies, its output including Fog On The Tyne, the top selling British album of 1972. Tickets for the concert are £14.

Next on the bill is the Henri Oguike Dance Company on Wednesday (October 15). This young British choreographer and his group of dancers perform a series of dance pieces. Front Line, digs into the fabric of Shostakovich's 9th Quartet, while the short solo FPS (Frames Per Second) is performed by Oguike himself, set to music by Bill Evans. Dido and Aeneas, a new work, is set to music by Purcell, while Finale is a fast-paced piece, performed to modern Latin music. Tickets are £9.50 (concs £8.50)

A change to the planned schedule for Thursday means The Man Next Door will be replaced by My Uncle Arly, a celebration of the life and work of Edward Lear.

All of the performances begin at 7.30pm.

Films showing during the week begin with Rabbit Proof Fence (PG), on Sunday at 7.30pm, the tale of three young Aboriginal girls who make an incredible journey.

Goodbye Lenin (15) is on Monday (October 13), at 7.30pm. It is set in East Berlin in 1989, where a mother wakes from a coma to face many changes.

All the Real Girls (15) is on Tuesday at 6.15pm. A young American boy faces the difficulties of love.

Historias Minimas (15) is on Tuesday (October 14), at 8.15pm, and is a series of interwoven tales in Spanish with English subtitles.
