KIDDERMINSTER Harriers boss Ian Britton has confirmed that he is in talks with two potential targets following his decision not to extend striker Andy Bishop's loan spell at Aggborough.

The 21 year-old has been struggling with a knee problem, prompting Britton to decide it was best for the player to return to Walsall to continue his career.

He said: "I've still no doubts that Bishop has the potential to do well in the game but unfortunately things haven't really worked out as well as both parties would have hoped this season.

"Hopefully, he has learned a lot from his time here and the experience he has gained will stand him in good stead."

Bishop scored seven goals in 41 appearances during his two stints with Harriers.

If Britton's talks with his two unnamed targets fail to reap rewards today, striker John Williams is likely to be favourite to partner Bo Henriksen in tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash against Southend United at Aggborough.
