JOHN Bickerton and David Park both made impressive starts to the Dutch Open golf tournament at Hilversum.
Droitwich's Bickerton was in joint 13th place after the first round with a three-under-par 67, while Hereford's Park was a shot further back in equal 32nd.
Park picked up two birdies today but then dropped a shot to sit on three under after 11 holes. Bickerton was among the later starters.
Welshman Jamie Donaldson, one of three joint leaders yesterday, moved into top spot on his own today with two birdies to take him to eight under.
