The hunt continues for 34 unique pewter replicas of various military head-gear.

Artist Clive Kelly suffered the loss of more than £1,000 worth of models on August 10 this year.

The theft occurred as Mr Kelly and his father were on the way back to Atherstone, in Warwick, from a trade show in Bristol.

Thieves struck when they parked in a car park in Hollybush to walk in Golden Valley.

Mr Kelly displays his work regularly at trade and military fairs around the country and it was hoped that someone would recognise his work at one such event.

It is believed that a contact of Mr Kelly's, who was unaware of the theft, spotted several of his models at a fair in the Malvern area.

However, Mr Kelly said these models may have been acquired perfectly legitimately and may have nothing to do with the theft.

Mr Kelly is maintaining contact with the police, who are still trying to trace the missing items.

Despite having to re-make all of the models that were stolen, Mr Kelly's business has been booming.

He said: "Its extremely hectic at the moment, I haven't had a day off since the theft. I'm struggling to keep up with the demand, although I am definitely not complaining."
