AROUND 80 people attended the harvest supper in Powick Parish Hall last Saturday evening and enjoyed a delicious buffet supper prepared by Julia Evans and Helen followed by apple pie and custard. Entertainment was by the Singing Sous Chefs (alias Will Tooby and two friends) singing in a barbershop style to a very appreciative audience. The bar was manned by Jim Allsopp and raffle run by Robert Floyd and Peter Lewis.

Prize winners were Mike McDavell (a bottle of whisky), Diana Turner (toiletries), Joy Bunyan (chocolates), Chris Dendy (wine), Noreen Barker-Browne (set of mugs) and Andy Dyson (chocolates). A total of around £300 was raised towards paying for the hall car park. Thanks to everyone who helped make the evening a success.
