THE service in St Mary's Church on Sunday, October 12, will be 8am holy communion using the Book of Common Prayer, an opportunity to begin the week in quiet prayer and reflection. St Mary's Church Choir will be rehearsing in church on Monday, October 14, starting with the children's voices at 6.30pm and the adults joining them at 7pm.
Longdon St Mary's School will be holding a book fair on October 9-15. It will be open before and after school, with parents helping to run it. A wide variety of books to cater for all ages will be available as well as the usual selection of pencils, posters, notebooks and other early stocking fillers. On Monday, October 13, Beech class will visit Gloucester Docks and Willow class will visit the Art in Nature exhibition in Gloucester.
