WITH the theme Our World, the monthly family service at Eldersfield Lawn School was led by the younger members of the benefice with ages ranging f rom five to 17 years.
The junior benefice choir was joined by pupils of the school who between them provided much of the music which included several choruses, sung with great gusto, and no little skill. Two pieces for flute were confidently played by three very young pupils. The readings and prayers were also provided by the children.
A very enjoyable service enjoyed by a large congregation (80). Let's hope for a similar service in the near future. Christmas! Well done Roger and staff at school for all the background support.
