AN awareness day is being held in Malvern at the end of the month to inform residents of what types of benefits they can claim.
Billions of pounds of state benefits go unclaimed each year nationally and Malvern Hills District Citizens' Advice Bureau is hoping its event will allow people to take the slice of benefits they are entitled to.
Advisers from the Citizens' Advice Bureau, together with representatives from the benefit sector, including the pensions service, department of work and pensions, the tax credit department of the Inland Revenue and the district council's revenue services will be on had to give free advice.
The event will be held at Priory Lodge Hall, in Avenue Road, Malvern on Wednesday, October 29 between 10.30am and 3.30pm. Anyone is entitled to attend. For more information telephone 01684 563611.
