ACTION in the B Division of the Cotswold Floorball League continued on Tuesday with first outings for Stow-on-the-Wold, Bledington and Temple Guiting.

The latter are newly promoted from the C Division and made a good start with a 6-0 victory over Bledington.

Chris Hughes scored a hat-trick, backed up by further strikes from Richard Eayrs, Sam Twiston-Davies, and Matthew Houldsworth.

They then prevented a shock defeat at the hands of Stow with two goals in the final three minutes, both by Hughes, to counter an early effort from Conor Shoemark.

Bledington's woes continued when they lost 2-1 to St Catharine's. Tom Gidman scored in reply to efforts from Robbie Powell and Grace Williams.

The Saints also overcame Stow with a solitary goal from Tom McDonagh.

The newly formed D Division starts next Tuesday with Chipping Campden School playing the two teams from Bredon Hill Middle School.
