THREE wins out of five games represented a good return for Kidderminster Carolians' mini-section at Luctonians.

The U-12s triumphed 19-14 in a hard-fought clash played over three 20-minute spells.

KCs' scrum dominated as tries were scored by Tom Eades, Alex Hopkirk and Will Short who added two conversions.

The U-11s were unlucky to lose 7-0 in a close match after a good display, while Tom Redfurn's try gave KCs U-10s a 5-0 success.

The U-9s won 15-5 with all three tries scored by speedy winger Francesca Short, though good tackling by William Allman, James Tildesely, Steve Winter and George Decothi was also a feature.

George Kowalik (three), Liam Harrison (two), Aaron Barranca and Alex Royall were on target in a 40-35 defeat for the U-8s.
