I WRITE in response to J Hale (Letters, September 25) about the new district recycling policy.
Talk about contradicting yourself. You say you haven't got time to wash your tins, bottles etc, but you have time to travel on busy roads to the tip, twice.
Also you say you have a grown-up family. Well, surely recycling is for the environment and the future (your grandchildren, and their grandchildren etc).
Just get real J Hale - this recycling policy should have happened some time ago.
