I WOULD be grateful if you would allow me to say a big thank you to all the kind people of Pershore who supported our Table Top Sale recently and helped us to raise £334.60 for our charity.
I must make a special thank you to all at The White Horse for not only providing us with our own venue but for all the help that they constantly give us. Also thanks to all our wives and families for baking cakes etc and supporting the hard work that myself and my fellow shipmates do for our cause.
Our local branch has been running for just over a year now and the support that we have received from the local community has been outstanding. It is a privilege to head such an active organisation with a genuine sense of community spirit and I am truly grateful for all the support that we are given in return.
We meet on the first Wednesday evening of each month and always welcome new members - whether ex-Navy or not.
