A BIG name coffee shop has been unveiled as the latest addition to the Weavers Wharf line-up - with tenants for the remaining two available stores set to be named soon.

This means the scheme will be 100 per cent let, with all 23 units occupied.

Caffe Nero is set to open a 1,5000 sq ft outlet in a distinctively shaped building overlooking the River Stour near the new bridge in December.

The continental-style coffee house will offer premium espresso-based gourmet coffee and authentic Italian food.

Development manager David Lewis said: "We have talked of securing a modern coffee shop operator at Weavers Wharf for some time and we are delighted to be successful with an operator the quality of Caffe Nero."

The firm's Paul Ettinger said: "We aim to give Kidderminster something most other towns already have and provide the community with a relaxing continental-style coffee house."

Mr Lewis said agreements had been reached with two firms for the remaining units in the new passageway alongside the town hall, with names to be announced when they have signed on the dotted line.

The already-open car park is set to become pay and display imminently, while the rest of it will be open towards the middle of the month, as will De Bradelei Mill.

Greggs, Julian Graves and Co-op Travel are lined up for a mid-November opening, while Stylo Barratt, TH Baker and Shizhen are due at the end of next month.

Next is due early December with JJB, Sports Soccer and Frankie and Benny's set to be the first openings of the New Year.

And the ribbon will be officially cut when the exciting new Marks & Spencer store welcomes its first customers next spring.
