I FULLY endorse the comments made by Mark Davis (You Say, Tuesday, September 30).

After 30 years of driving with a clean licence I find myself with six points in three months.

Twice I have been caught by the same camera on the City Walls Road with my speed just over the limit.

I do not consider myself a criminal

The same day I received the second fine, I was followed by a car full of joyriders in the city, hellbent on trying to race away from the lights along side of me.

They actually took the bend on two screeching, smoking wheels. These are the criminals.

Please concentrate on catching these people rather than penalising the innocent motorist.

n I AGREE with the points made by correspondents about whether one should be more concerned about what is showing on the speedometer or concentrating on watching the road ahead.

Perhaps drivers are expected to drive at speeds of 25mph or thereabouts.
