BRITISH Summer Time ends on Sunday, October 26, and throughout the country, people will be turning back their clocks by one hour.

But this Sunday, the Severn Valley Railway will be travelling back even further to show visitors the great vehicles of the 20th Century.

After its successful launch last year, the SVR's Classic Car & Bike Day has returned to reveal the most stylish and treasured motors built between the 1920s and 1980s.

More than 200 cars will be on display at the six main stations on the 16-mile Kidderminster to Bridgnorth steam railway.

The Model T Ford, Austin Ruby, Humber Hawk, Triumph Mayflower, Bentleys and the Jaguar XJS will be just some of the cars on display at Kidderminster, Bewdley, Arley, Highley, Hampton Loade and Bridgnorth stations.

The majority of bikes, including Triumph, Norton and Sunbeam machines, will be at Hampton Loade, with a display from the Midland Vintage Motorcycle Club.

The SVR's busiest timetable of 20 trains, 10 in each direction between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, will run at 45-minute intervals between the stations, starting at 9.55am from Kidderminster and 11.05am from Bridgenorth. For further timetable information and prices call 01299 403816. The event is free for SVR travel ticket holders.
