A NEW service that offers advice to disabled people and their carers has opened at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
The advice centre will offer information about a variety of benefit and welfare issues.
It is being run by the Disability Information Advice Line with the county hospital trust.
"We welcome this new initiative and we will be promoting the service within the hospital to ensure that patients, carers and relatives gain maximum benefit from the service," said Stephen Onions, patient services manager, for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals.
"If it proves successful it will become a permanent feature.
Sessions will run from 9.30am to 1pm every Wednesday. The first session took place last Wednesday, October 1.
