DEAR EDITOR -- So Big Brother party politics is alive and well in Bromsgrove.
Councillor Dennis Norton should remember two things - Councillors Psirides, Doyle and Lammie were elected primarily to represent their constituents' views, not the views of the local party machine, and these councillors have a wealth of experience and long-service representing their community.
Does he not realise that, if the views of these three senior councillors are at odds with the party view, they might just be right and the party wrong.
The sooner we get rid of this type of this type of party dictatorship at a local level and return to true, individual representation, the better it is for local democracy.
