A NIGHT full of eastern promise lies in store at the Palace Theatre when Bollywood Nights comes to town.

The versatile cast members are talented and modern Asian performers who express their individual and collective skills in this production, described as a "Vegas-type variety show with a splash of Bollywood style."

The show also features four frontline entertainers - Kevin Sherwani, who holds the show together with his finely tuned comedy skills, the show's star vocalist VJK, Pialy Malik and illusionist Ricki Martyn.

A Palace Theatre spokesman said: "VJ is set to have the audience on his side with his boy next door appeal and impressive vocals.

"In the first half VJ, dressed in Indian attire and accompanied by four lovely dancers, treats us to the Bee Gees classic You Should Be Dancing.

"Pialy Malik, who impresses greatly in the shows opening, joins VJ and the girls for a real Bollywood treat when they recreate from the classic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham the signature song Shava Shava.

"And when it comes to sheer magic you will be astounded by the remarkable Ricki Martyn, whose class shines through in this distinguished and breath taking performance."

The show takes place at 7pm on Sunday, October 5.

Tickets cost £13.50 (£13 disc rate) from the Tourist Information Centre, on 65203 or by emailing:
