FECKENHAM manager Lee Adams admits eight straight wins has left him with something of a selection headache.

The Millers stunned league leaders Romulus on Saturday by adding to their impressive list of scalps with a 2-1 win in Sutton Coldfield.

Now Adams is left wondering what he will do when he has a full squad to choose from!

"It is as nice position to be in," Adams said after seeing Feckenham climb to second in the Icis Combination Premier Division. "I had five first team players out at the weekend and it will be another three weeks before we are likely to have everyone back and fit."

Justin Ballinger, Gary Beadling and Gavin Barratt were ruled out of the Romulus game with Jimmy Harper and Mark Davis away on a stag weekend in Prague.

"It is a good thing that we have such a good squad - I've already used about 22 players so far this season," the manager added. "Having a reserve side has been magnificent for us."

Having played most of the leading sides, the Millers head to the Black Country on Saturday for a game with struggling Dudley Sports.

But Adams knows the fixture could prove something of a banana skin and players will have to be on their guard if they are to extend their winning run.

"The lads will have to get their heads and make sure their feet are on the ground.

"We aren't kidding ourselves - there are still a lot of games to play. But if we are still in this position in January then we can start planning for the future.

"Our main aim at the moment though is to make sure we have enough points to make ourselves safe," Adams added.
