A COLWALL XI won this 40-over friendly fixture against a Bosbury XI on Sunday by 10 wickets.
COLWALL II V BOSBURY
Bosbury batted first on a lovely afternoon, but lost wickets regularly to some good bowling and fielding by Colwall. For Bosbury, only Mark Moaby (17), Gary Price (26) and jon Owen (32) were able to get into double figures, as the visitors were skittled out for just 125 runs, B Ford taking 5 for 47.
D Berry and M Berry opened for Colwall, and despite some close calls, they progressed steadily to the winning total, both batsmen passing 50 as Colwall overhauled the Bosbury score by ten wickets.
Bosbury now have just two more friendly fixtures to finish the season off. Tomorrow (Saturday) they visit Eastnor, and on Sunday, they are away at The Swan of Alfrick.
