MATT Gadsby is set to take over defensive duties from suspended Adam Willis for tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash against Macclesfield Town at Moss Rose.

Willis misses the trip because of a one-match ban picked up for being sent off in the closing stages of Harriers' 2-1 defeat at Cheltenham Town.

Gadsby, a close season signing from Mansfield Town, played in midfield last Saturday when Kidderminster lost 1-0 at Bristol Rovers.

The 24 year-old figured in defence during Harriers' pre-season programme, but picked up a knee ligament injury against Boldmere St Michaels and was forced to miss the start of the campaign.

He said: "Hopefully, I can stay injury free from now on and build on my fitness. I'm ready for selection tomorrow and will play anywhere the manager wants me."

Recent loan signing Lloyd Dyer, meanwhile, is hoping the experience he gained from making his debut for Harriers at Rovers last Saturday will put him in good stead for tomorrow's test against the Silkmen.

The 20-year-old midfielder, on a month's loan at Aggborough from West Bromwich Albion, said: "I played in every game for West Brom reserves last season but it's a totally different experience to play first team football. I want to learn from it and become a better player.

I can play anywhere on the left but I like to play on the left wing. That's my ideal position."

Harriers are hoping another of their loan midfielders Adam Murray from Derby County will be available tomorrow after missing the Rovers game because of illness.

Aggborough manager Ian Britton is hoping to quickly find the winning formula after seeing his slide into the lower half of the table after going four matches without a win -- three of them ending in defeats.

Macclesfield are one point worse off than Harriers having let in 10 goals in their opening six matches.

They are, however, unbeaten at Moss Rose having thrashed Yeovil 4-1 and drawn with Boston and Torquay.

FORMCAST: Harriers will have to settle for a 1-1 draw.
