OVERBURY have been crow-ned champions of the Concorde Ladies League after the tightest finish in league history.
It needed several recounts to determine the new title winners who pipped Broadway by 0.25 of a point.
However, there was consolation for the runners-up when they met their league rivals in the final of the Worcestershire Inter-Club Double Rink event at Pershore last week.
It was Broadway's third successive final appearance and it proved a competitive clash with Overbury leading after 11 ends.
However, Broadway hit back to win on both rinks and record a nine-shot margin of victory.
