AFTER winning gold in the British Triathlon Championships and silver at the duathlon equivalent, Les Bailey took second silver medal at the World Duathlon Championships in Switzerland.
The Worcester Triathlon Club member who lives in Pinvin only missed out on gold in the 65-69 year category by a mere seven seconds.
The event consisted of a 10K run, a 40K bike ride and 5K run and Bailey showed his endurance when clocking two hours 40 minutes and 12 seconds.
His next big date is at the European Duathlon Championships in Italy next month.
