AN ability to fight back from a goal down was one of the positives Stourport Swifts boss Dave Titterton took from Saturday's 1-1 draw with Gresley.

Titterton, whose side are undefeated in the last two games, believes that was something rarely seen last season.

Midfielder John Shirley grabbed the goal to pull Swifts level after they had fallen behind in the first half.

Titterton said: "I take it as another point and another game unbeaten. They are the positives.

"In the last two games, we've been in situations where we haven't played particularly well but we've still picked up points.

"Last season I'm almost positive that we didn't have the strength in the squad to go 1-0 down and get something out of a game.

"It doesn't seem much but for me it's quite a big jump. The only way to change peoples' perceptions of Stourport being a small club is by producing results on the pitch."
