A RUNNING postman from Stourport has achieved his latest goal - sponsoring a hearing dog for life.
Kevin Draper, of Sytchampton Lane, held a dance at the Briars pub in Kidderminster to raise cash for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.
This event and others topped up the £3,800 he raised by running the London Marathon earlier in the year.
The fitness-fanatic organised the line-dancing evening, which bagged £350, after the charity told him he could sponsor a dog for life for £5,000.
Mr Draper, who works in Kidderminster and also organised a cream tea and theatre trip to see Miss Saigon, said he had enjoyed his fund-raising frenzy but he was looking forward to a rest.
"I don't know which dog I've sponsored yet because they'll choose it and let me know," he added.
