A HANDFUL of players with local interest are teeing off today at the 55th Wor-cestershire Open Golf Championship.
The Vale Golf and Country Club is represented by a trio of players with Simon Green the first out at Worcester Golf and Country Club. He was followed by clubmates Mark Fenning and Warwick Holland for the first 18 of the 36-hole strokeplay event.
Evesham professional Dan Cummins was due out at 9.54, with former Craycombe captain, Gary Bristow, now a member at Redditch, first out of the 54 competitors from the eighth at 8.34am.
