BEWDLEY Library will close later this month for two weeks of "essential building work".
Items due to be returned between September 22 and October 6, when the work takes place, will not be due back until after the library is re-opened on Monday, October 6.
Councillor Stephen Clee, assistant cabinet member for cultural and community services at Worcestershire County Council, said: "We apologise if this work does cause an inconvenience to anyone, but our staff at the library are doing a great job of keeping people informed.
"I'm sure that regular users of Bewdley Library will understand."
